Goa Hosts India's First Wedding Photography Festival

"I am proud to initiate this wave of change in the wedding photography industry"

Silk Inspire 2016 is set to offer new insights and change things up by hosting India’s first wedding photography festival.

This will take place in India from October 4-7 2016.

This wedding photography seminar and workshop festival aims to gather budding wedding photographers alongside professionals into an environment where they can interact, network and learn from one another.

This festival is organized by the boutique photo agency Silk Photos.

This agency represents a select group of wedding photographers in both stills and motion. But of course they specialise in Indian weddings and also destination wedding photography.

Owner of Silk Photos, Sephi Bergerson was a photographer that was originally from Israel, Tel Aviv. Now he’s living in India and has a lot of passion for bringing these kind of festivals to India.

He said “These kinds of events are commonly organised in Europe and the US. I am proud to initiate this wave of change in the wedding photography industry. More importantly, in a career of 30 years, it is time to do something new and inspiring”.

As this festival will be a week long, each day will be dedicated to different aspects of photography.

The first two days includes a session with each instructor. They will focus on covering technique, tips from their experience in the industry and also covering the overall style of photography.

The third of fourth day will be a masterclass offering the chance to see expert photographers in their element and learning from that.

Amongst the experts there will be two from India and  six international photographers. They will play different roles, but mainly will function as speakers and workshop leaders.

This will offer the emerging photographers the chance to see different styles and approaches in the field. Alongside the great opportunity to interact and learn from professionals.

The amazing lineup will include award winning photographers. Like Mahesh Shantaram, Franck Boutonnet, Susana Barbera, Two Mann Studio, Apresh Chavda, Joesph Radhik, Christophe Viseux and Bergerson.
