"Hello, I'm here for the Porsche."
Shocking security footage showed the moment a woman turned up at a house and claimed she wanted to buy a Porsche before stealing it, running over the owner in the process.
The incident unfolded on September 6, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.
Ring doorbell footage showed the woman, who was dressed up in a white long-sleeve top, brown skirt and sandals, approaching the house.
The 2022 Porsche Cayenne had been advertised on AutoTrader.
After the owner opens his door, she is heard telling him:
“Hello, I’m here for the Porsche.”
She claims she is waiting for her father but asks to see the vehicle first.
Doorbell footage captures a clear image of the young woman, who Peel Regional Police are still trying to identify.
Police have described the suspect as a 5-foot-5 South Asian woman weighing approximately 120lbs with a thin build, long brown hair and brown eyes.
The footage then cuts to the driveway as she and the owner check out the luxury SUV.
The woman is sitting in the driver’s seat while the owner is next to her.
But as he exits and makes his way over to the driver’s side, she appears to lock the door.
Suspecting her true intentions, the unnamed victim moves to the back of the car.
However, the woman aggressively reverses out onto the street, dragging the victim along with her.
He appeared to be caught by one of the rear wheels and was left sprawling in the street.
Despite the ferocity of the collision, the victim appeared to not suffer serious injuries and got straight up as he tried to stop the theft.
At the same time, other motorists honk their horns as they quickly brake.
The woman fled the scene in the stolen SUV.

The car owner sustained injuries to his elbow, hands and legs. Afterwards, he required medical attention.
Police are now looking for the suspect, who is wanted for vehicle theft and dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
In addition to the woman, police are looking into a grey Bentley Bentayga – described as an accomplice vehicle – that was parked outside the victim’s home.
Security footage showed the SUV driving off shortly after the Porsche reversed into the road.
A blue BMW X5 is also of police interest as it is the vehicle the female suspect arrived at the victim’s house in.
