Erica Robin, the first Miss Universe Pakistan, is being subjected to criticism for her recent post.
The post featured her rocking a crop top paired with denim shorts and a shrug. She sported a bandana on her head as well.
She quickly sparked a heated debate after posting photos that showed at Baba Beach Club in Thailand.
Many commented on her choice of outfit, labelling her as a hypocrite.
Most people think that she wore modest clothing in the Miss Universe pageant to garner attention and validation.
Others believe she did it to look unique.
Whatever the case, her comments section quickly became a battleground for those in support and against her recent fashion choice.
One user commented: “I’m starting to dislike you, woman! Is it necessary to wear this kind of naked dress to fit in the people?”
Another said: “She is the same girl who wore a burkini in Miss Universe and now showing her all body. Double standards.”

It is worth noting that although Erica hails from Pakistan, she is from a Christian background. This was something that was pointed out by her fans to defend her from the hate.

Erica Robin is of Pakistani-American background and was born in California. She is currently a resident of Karachi, Pakistan.
Some conservative voices have claimed that her participation in Miss Universe was made without the country’s approval.
An investigation was also launched against the organisers of the beauty pageant in Pakistan.
The caretaker Prime Minister, Anwar ul Haq Kakkar also questioned it, deeming it a “shameful act”.
Many people said Erica Robin would “regret being born in Pakistan”.
