Shanaya Kapoor has been actively sharing a series of photos from her Maldives excursion on her Instagram account.
One of her recent posts showcases her engaging in scuba diving while donning a pink bikini, surrounded by a school of tiny fish in the crystal-clear waters.
Simultaneously, Karan Kothari also took to his Instagram stories to post an underwater video of his scuba diving adventure, unmistakably sharing the same underwater location.
Furthermore, a comparison of backgrounds between one of Shanaya’s Instagram pictures and Karan Kothari’s recent post reveals striking similarities.
In Shanaya’s photo, she is elegantly dressed in a beige cutout outfit, seated at a dining spot with two coconuts on the table before her.
The background showcases a distinctive sloping-roof structure with wooden columns lining its periphery.
Interestingly, Karan Kothari’s latest Instagram post features the same background.
He is seen posing for a selfie, sharing the caption:
“A wise man once said nothing at all.”
Shanaya’s dad Sanjay commented on the post, and wrote: “The wise Man was obviously me.”
In January, the Hindustan Times reported that Shanaya is romantically involved with Karan who is not affiliated with the film industry.
Given the news, Karan immediately put his Instagram profile on private. Could he be hiding something or has the news of this supposed romance broken too quickly?
What’s even more enlightening is that fans saw Shanaya commenting on some of Karan’s pictures.
On one post, she put the drooling face emoji to highlight her attraction towards her ‘new boyfriend’.
23-year-old Shanaya Kapoor was originally slated to make her Bollywood debut in Bedhadak and is also reportedly set to share the screen with actor Tiger Shroff in Shashank Khaitan’s Screw Dheela.
Although the exact timeline of Shanaya and Karan’s relationship remains unspecified, it is known that the two attended university together in Los Angeles.
Notably, Karan Kothari operates a startup based in LA.
A source close to Shanaya, as reported by the Hindustan Times, shared that she has refrained from posting about her significant other on social media.
