2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and LBD’s, it had it all.

The stars of Bollywood put on a show for us like never before.

From Sonam Kapoor, to Hrithik Roshan, we were left pining after their innovative, inspirational outfits, but who pulled it out of the bag and came out on top?

As the year draws to a close, we take a stroll down memory lane to see which celebs made it into our list of the Best Dressed Bollywood Stars of 2015.

Sophie Choudry

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

Our first entry is from way back on January 31, 2015, at the 60th Filmfare Awards.

Draped in a sophisticated Monisha Jaising gown, Sophie Choudry captivated film revellers at the event, and was the surprise of the evening.

This classic black dress was embroiled with gold detailing around the waist, trailing up towards the arms.

The slight plunge within the bust area gave a hint of sensuality, whilst still maintaining its elegance.

Paired with bold, emerald green earrings, and a voluminised, sleek up do, Sophie dazzled her way into our best dressed list.

Jacqueline Fernandez

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

Remember at Cannes Film Festival when Sonam Kapoor donned a feathered outfit and was ridiculed by the entire internet?

Well Jacqueline Fernandez certainly learned from that big mistake when she attended the Stardust Awards earlier this month.

The Brothers (2015) actress looked unbelievable as she wore a Elio Abou Fayssal’s feathered gown.

The silver and white colour palette was teamed with a simple yet bold clutch bag.

Clutching tightly around her waist, also presented the stars’ curves with its deep plunge neckline, showing off her ample assets.

The soft colours along with the daring cuts of the gown mould a demand and fierce image, and shoot Jacqueline straight into our list.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

The comeback queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan slayed Cannes Film Festival 2015 like never before.

Donning a mesmerising Ralph and Russo Haute Couture gown, we couldn’t get enough of this fierce fashion fix.

Its wondrous architectural design was dramatically daring, as was the black detailing that cascaded down the trail of the dress.

Its thigh high split, and waist cinching belt showcased Aish as one of the most beautiful Bollywood babes of all time.

Her diamond encrusted diamond earrings topped of the incredible attire, and place the gorgeous star within our best dressed list.

Hrithik Roshan

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

This B-town hunk also nabs a place in our best dressed list of 2015 with his gorgeous appearance at the IIFA awards back in June.

Ladies were left drooling for more after he stepped out in a red velvet suit jacket, paired with a matching bow tie.

Teamed with a white shirt and black trousers, this look was strikingly daring, but it definitely paid off.

Of course, his handsomely hypnotic good looks help him along the way, but this look was definitely one to beat this year.

Hrithik always looks dazzlingly dapper, and this appearance was no exception, which is why he takes another slot in our best dressed list.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

She wouldn’t be called the queen if she didn’t appear more than once in this best dressed list.

Yes, Aishwarya Rai rocked Bollywood all year round, and proves she still has what it takes to slay the fashion scene at this year’s Stardust Awards.

Her Georges Hobeika Couture gown enthralled fashionistas around the globe, and channelled a fairy-tale vibe to her entire look.

The floral detailing was intricately beautiful, whilst the material of the gown was sheer stunning.

Aish finished off her look with a waist cinching belt, and looked absolutely flawless, which is why she takes another spot on our list.

Sonam Kapoor

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

As always, no list would ever be complete without the style icon that is Sonam Kapoor.

Her Shehla Khan lace design was enchantingly ethereal, and transported us into a fairyland with its intricate detailing.

The off-the-shoulder sari flattered Sonam’s petite physique, and subtly showcased her toned abs.

Its elongated length worked well with the star’s height, whilst the delicate material moulded the actress into a dream girl.

Finishing off her look was a square, chic clutch bag, paired with warm, dewy make-up.

Fawad Khan

2015 was a year of weird and wonderful fashion choices. Couture gowns, tuxedos, and lbd's, it had it all.

September saw one of the most gorgeous men in the world grace the Lux Style Awards.

Fawad Khan sent pulses racing in another red ensemble, and boy did he impress.

Wearing a royal red suit jacket, the Pakistani actor teamed the already perfect ensemble with an understated yet spectacular gold brooch.

A dazzling tie pin and classic pocket square were the finishing touches to this look, and places Fawad in our best dressed list of 2015.

All of the stars in this list are the reason why fashion is so exciting. Those ‘wow’ moments are what we live for.

Seeing our favourite Bollywood celeb wear an outfit that blows our minds is why style is so important.

They inspire our future outfits, and urge us to be more adventurous with our own personal fashion.

These stars taught us a lot about how to dress in 2015, but how will 2016 fare?

All we know is that we can’t wait to find out!
