Arsalan Naseer recently shared his personal encounter with nepotism within Pakistan’s showbiz industry.

In the Pakistani drama industry, nepotism remains a pervasive issue, often placing the children of celebrities in advantageous positions.

Arsalan’s candid revelation came during an Instagram Q&A session where he engaged with his fans.

During the Q&A, a fan expressed a desire to see Arsalan Naseer work alongside Ayeza Khan.

The fan said: “Please work with Ayeza Khan… Work as the main lead with a happy ending.”

In response, Arsalan shed light on the behind-the-scenes challenge he faced due to nepotism.

The actor revealed that he was initially slated to work with Ayeza Khan on a project.

However, his role was ultimately given to another actor’s son.

Arsalan said: “Lol I was working with her, but then they brought an actor’s son instead and kicked me off the project.

“Then Ayeza left as well later on.”

The actor’s struggles due to nepotism resonated with many in the industry who face similar obstacles.

Another user commented on his Q&A session:

“Bro you don’t need any abbu (father) in this industry to support you in every situation and don’t worry, we are here for your projects.”

Arsalan replied: Thanks bro! And definitely wherever I am… is all because of you guys!

“It’s only your support that brought me here and keeps me going. Thanks for always supporting me.”

Fans came to Arsalan’s support, with one commenting:

“Nepo baby culture is a cancer for any industry. There will be no progress and growth if this keeps happening.”

Another added: “Can’t believe we missed out on Ayeza and Arsalan on screen together because of some nobody.”

One said: “How embarrassing must it have been for that nepo baby after he struggled and used unfair means to work with Ayeza and she refused to work with him.”

Another noted:

“Arsalan needs no help. He is doing so well on his own.”

Others claimed his acting is subpar.

One user wrote: “He doesn’t know how to act. It seems like he is being comedic in every role that he does.”

Another added: “You are not much of an actor. Quit whining and work hard.”

One said: “Glad that we were saved from more cringe.”

Another said: “Please understand that acting is not your cup of tea.”

One commented: “The directors dropped you because you were a bad choice for casting. Do not blame it on the nepo baby to make yourself feel better.”
