Anwar Maqsood disclosed that he learned about the rumours through phone calls from concerned individuals.

He said: “I not only reject all such news but also condemn those who disseminate such information without verification.”

Maqsood highlighted the significance of responsible reporting and issued a firm rebuttal in response to recent online speculations.

They implied he was targeted because of his critical stance against the current government and their alleged allies.

Dismissing these insinuations, Maqsood urged the public to exercise discernment and cautioned against the circulation of baseless rumours.
