Anushka regularly shares posts on Instagram for her fans.
Recently, she shared a behind-the-scenes video from one of her shoots in which she was seen having fun in front of the camera.
She donned a beige coloured crop top with matching pants and left her short hair loose with minimal makeup.
Meanwhile, Anushka will make her comeback after a break of almost three years with Jhulan Goswami’s biopic Chakda Xpress.
The film will focus on the hardships and challenges the cricketer had to face to make a place in the world of cricket.
Directed by Prosit Roy and produced by Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Filmz, Chakda Xpress is set to release directly onto Netflix.
The film is set to release on February 2, 2023.
The trailer of the film was released on January 6, 2022, and drew criticism from netizens for her accent and appearance.
While sharing the teaser with her 57.5 million Instagram followers, Anushka Sharma wrote:
“It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice.”
“Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket.”
Several social media users have suggested that Anushka Sharma should have picked a different film for her comeback, given her “weird” Bengali accent and the poor attempt at darkening her skin.
The actress was last seen in 2018’s Zero, which was considered a flop at the box office, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
