Why has Azaan Sami Khan postponed his Album?

Azaan Sami Khan has announced that he has decided to delay the release of his album which was due for release on October 30, 2023.

Azaan The Album was a much-anticipated launch.

The singer released a statement on Instagram to share his feelings with his fans.

The statement read: “When I make music I make it to spread love. This album is the same.

“If love isn’t celebrated, I don’t feel like I would be doing justice to the music.

“It deeply saddens me to witness what is going on in the world right now and despite however much I want the music to come out, it isn’t a time for celebration.

“The atrocities in Palestine and the attack on the Muslim world is an attack on every one of us.

“With a heavy heart, I would like to say that I am pushing the album release to November 12, 2023.

“Hoping that global intervention proves successful and that peace prevails.

“There are no words or actions that can truly compensate for the incomparable losses families are bearing.

“I stand with Palestine, Kashmir and my Muslim community all over the world, and all the innocent lives lost and families shattered everywhere.

“I hope we work towards a world where our children do not repeat the mistakes we have all made or bear the consequences of it.

“May Allah help us all. Love always, Azaan.”

The gesture was met with affectionate messages and fans thanked him for showing solidarity with Palestine.

One fan said: “Thank you for using your platform to support Palestine.”

Another commented: “You have taken a very good step. We are proud of you and agree with you.

A third added:

“Thank you for using your privilege and platform cautiously.”

Azaan Sami Khan recently shared the trailer for the album on Instagram and it was disclosed that Sanam Saeed, Aena Khan and Syra Yousaf would make an appearance in his video.

Azaan is the son of music maestro Adnan Sami and actress Zeba Bakhtiar. He is a singer, composer and actor by profession.

He made his debut appearance in the drama serial Ishq-e-Laa and worked with the likes of Sajal Aly, Yumna Zaidi, Seemi Raheel and Laila Wasti.

Azaan has composed much-loved music for Parey Hut Love, Superstar and Parwaaz Hai Junoon.
