"Shalin raised a finger at my character and was so aggressive"
Since leaving Bigg Boss 16, Tina Datta has been talking about her experience and revealed that she regrets having an equation with Shalin Bhanot.
Their close but toxic bond on the show was a major talking point among viewers.
However, both have since revealed their true, unfavourable thoughts about one another. After her eviction, Shalin seemingly celebrated.
While Tina has left the show, Shalin remains in the Bigg Boss house.
Tina has now revealed that she regrets being linked to Shalin, claiming that he even tried to hit her whilst inside the house.
She told ETimes: “I absolutely repent getting connected and linked with Shalin Bhanot on Bigg Boss.
“Had I not met him or been friends with him on the show my journey would have been so different and nice.
“Shalin raised a finger at my character and was so aggressive that he tried to hit me once but when I tried to bring out his real image to the public that backfired against me.
“Probably he is a good actor than a better person. I always thought that no one can put up an act on a reality show like Bigg Boss for so long but Shalin has proved me wrong.
“He has acted for so many months. Hats off to him!”
Describing her “rocky” experience, Tina said:
“It was a rocky ride for me as I had both good and bad experiences.
“I never thought that I could be a part of a show like Bigg Boss and so I was scared and sceptical both at the same time when I said yes to this show this season.
“The kind of situations I have faced inside the house, I wasn’t even sure if I will be able to keep up with it or will be able to survive it for so long.
“But eventually, I used to tell myself that I am a survivor.”
“I survived the loss of my baby (Tina’s pet dog) when I was inside the house, then I survived two broken ankles, all the Weekend Ka Vaars on me, and towards the end a broken tooth also. It is unbelievable!”
Tina Datta previously said that her bond with Shalin took a toll on her.
“The Shalin Bhanot topic really took a toll on me and I was like can I please play my own game?
“When I became friends with Priyanka Choudhary recently, I was told by Farah Khan ma’am that we both are the really mean and most hated girls on the show by the viewers.
“I was in a state of trauma inside the Bigg Boss house.”
Tina added that she never wants to see Shalin again.
“I don’t think I would want to meet Shalin Bhanot ever in my life after everything that I have gone through.”
