Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya teamed together to present their ‘Unforgettable’ Bachchan concert tour which started in July 2008 and ended in August 2008 in the UK, London.
Aishwarya said about her first family tour, “Yes, it’s on in July and August. It’s wonderful to be on stage with Abhishek and Paa (the Big B). I remember how wonderful it was when we did Kajra Re at the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) awards two years ago.”
Amitabh Bachchan said “The tour is our expression of thanking the fans of Indian cinema. It gives us a chance to create sensational joint performances that will be appreciated by our fans in the city. We offer our audiences an experience to the spellbinding magic of Indian cinema across the world.”

26th July – Los Angeles (LA Sports Arena)

2nd August – Houston (Toyota Centre)
9th August – Atlantic City (Broadwalk Arena)
15th August – New York (Nassau Coliseum)

Unforgettable Tour 2008 Clips
However, despite the Bachchans united for the stage, the tour did have its problems attracting other major names due to clashes of film dates and sky-high fee demands. Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Madhuri Dixit Nene and Shilpa Shetty were the names that joined the Bachchans. The music was composed by Vishal and Shekhar on the tour.
Akshay Kumar joined the show in Toronto. Madhuri Dixit Nene performed in the American part of the tour. Shilpa Shetty joined the tour in the UK date in London. Lara Dutta and Bipasha Basu did not take part.
It’s reported that Hrithik Roshan was supposed to join but was too expensive and organisers Wizcraft approached a list of other stars including Salman Khan.
Reports described the USA and UK dates of the tour a huge success with an outstanding response from fans. However, the Canadian part of the tour was not received as well due to high ticket prices. Hence, the Vancouver date was cancelled.
