Tejasswi Prakash recalls Bullying for being ‘Extremely Skinny’

Tejasswi Prakash spoke about being bullied in school, revealing she was body-shamed for being skinny.

The Bigg Boss 15 winner is currently enjoying a lot of success but she revealed that her appearance was scrutinised.

She said: “I used to be extremely skinny in school, like people used to call me a hanger.”

Tejasswi went on to give an example of what fellow students would say to her.

She continued: “In school, I was extra skinny.

“So a lot of people, when we used to be on the ground playing and if it was windy, people used to be like, ‘Hey, put a five rupee coin in your pocket or you’ll fly away’.”

She urged people to stop body shaming others and gave her own advice on the matter.

“Listen, your body is ever-changing, especially if you’re a woman… There are so many times that we have our hormonal imbalances.

“So, if you’re skinny once, you never know, it’s not going to stay forever.

“I don’t think you should be bothered. I feel like if you’re skinny shamed, you shouldn’t be affected because that’s you.

“Always be extremely comfortable breathing in your skin.

“I think every individual looks different, and actually everything about another person’s body should be normal.

“Like, I’m not going to point out at a certain thing like ‘Hey being chubby should be normalised’, or ‘Hey being skinny should be normalised’.

“No, like everything should be normal. It’s another human for God’s sake. Just accept and normalise absolutely everything about that person’s body.”

Tejasswi Prakash came into the spotlight on Bigg Boss 15.

Not only did she win the show but she also met her boyfriend Karan Kundrra.

Since the show ended, the pair are frequently spotted at events together.

They are frequently asked about marriage.

When asked if he was planning to tie the knot with Tejasswi, Karan previously said:

“It should happen soon. Everything is going right. Everything is going wonderful.”

“The husband is ready, the wife is ready, the officiant is also ready.”
