"You have got the wrong Sara, guys!"
Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday will be guests in an upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan 8.
During the episode, Sara addressed rumours that she is dating cricketer Shubman Gill.
In a promotional video, Karan Johar asked Sara:
“There were alleged rumours about dating Shubman Gill.”
In response, the actress rolled her eyes and said: “You have got the wrong Sara, guys!
“The whole world is after the wrong Sara.”
This caused Karan to burst into laughter.
In another instance, Ananya exclaimed: “Sara’s poetry never ends!”
In the popular ‘Rapid Fire’ segment, Karan asked Sara Ali Khan:
“One thing Ananya has that you don’t?”
She replied: “A night manager.”
Karan then turned to Ananya and questioned: “How are you managing your nights? Have you not been a bit misled in love?”
To this, Ananya quipped: “Lovers are like that.”
The Liger actress then quickly slapped her forehead and exclaimed to herself: “Stop talking!”
The comments were hints over Ananya’s rumoured relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur.
Sara’s grandmother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore married cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi in 1968.
On a previous occasion, Sara Ali Khan was asked whether she would ever enter into a relationship with a cricketer like her grandmother.
The star had said: “I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor.
“Maybe not doctors, they will run away.
“But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level.”
“And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow, but I think that would matter to me much, much more [than the profession].”
It was previously speculated that Sara and Shubman were dating when a video circulated of the pair enjoying a dinner date.
In 2022, Shubman appeared on a chat show with Sonam Bajwa. The latter quizzed him about Sara.
She bluntly asked him if he was dating the actress.
The cricketer replied: “Maybe.”
Koffee with Karan 8 premiered on Disney+Hotstar on October 26, 2023.
Before Sara and Ananya, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol appeared in Season 8.
The episode featuring Sara and Ananya will be available for streaming on November 9, 2023.
Karan has an exciting array of guests set to appear on the show.
These include Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Rani Mukerji.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday is set to star in Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. It is due to be released on December 15, 2023.
Sara Ali Khan will portray freedom fighter Usha Mehta in Ae Watan Mere Watan.
