Saba Qamar has been hospitalised after suddenly falling ill during the filming of a drama in Rawalpindi.

She had been shooting for her upcoming drama Pamaal. Prior to that, she completed filming for Case No. 9.

According to reports, Saba had been juggling both sets back-to-back with minimal rest. Her health began to deteriorate on the Pamaal set.

While filming, she reportedly experienced discomfort and fatigue. Crew members called for help, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital in Rawalpindi.

Doctors admitted her to the ICU, where she received immediate care. She was stabilised shortly after admission, a hospital source confirmed.

However, it was reported that the situation could have been life-threatening if not treated in time.

Saba posted an Instagram story showing her lying in a hospital bed. Behind her stood a doctor and a few nurses.

The doctor’s name badge read “Dr Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah – Cardiology”, leading fans to speculate about possible cardiac-related concerns.

Fans grew anxious after spotting the bade. Many began to express worry over her condition online.

One user wrote: “May Allah give her strength and good health.”

Saba addressed her followers with a cheerful Instagram message thanking everyone for their love and prayers.

She wrote: “Hey my loveliest people! Thank you soooo much for all the love, concern, and prayers. I’m totally fine (promise!).

“Just had a little pause, but now I’m back like I never left! And guess what, you’re stuck with me… foreverrr.”

She assured fans that she’s not “going anywhere” and promised “more work, more madness, and more me!”

She ended her note by sending “a big warm hug and lots of sparkle”.

A production crew member shared:

“She didn’t want to take a break, but her body needed it.”

Many users shared similar thoughts online. One asked:

“Why does it always take a collapse before we prioritise health?”

Another user wrote: “No drama is worth risking a life. Please rest, Saba.”

Her management confirmed that she is now at home and recovering well. No changes have been announced to her work schedule.

Pamaal and Case No. 9 are both expected to air later in 2025. Promotional campaigns for both projects are still underway.

Fans remain excited for her return, but hope that Saba Qamar takes care of herself in the meantime.
