Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana trailer launch turned into a spectacular and emotionally charged evening in New Delhi.

The grand event brought together the film’s star-studded cast to unveil the most anticipated epic in recent memory.

Stars including Yash, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh and Sunny Deol attended the celebration.

Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil, Ravi Dubey, Kunal Kapoor and Shobhana were also present for the momentous occasion.

The evening was ceremonially titled Pratham Sankalp, marking Ramayana’s official journey from Bharat to the world.

In Indian tradition, a Sankalp represents a conscious and deeply committed intention before embarking on a great undertaking.

For the makers, it symbolised a shared commitment to honour India’s greatest cultural treasure with authenticity and reverence.

The event also marked the first public coming together of Ramayana‘s full principal cast on one historic stage.

The evening opened with a special address by poet Kumar Vishwas, who spoke about Ramayana‘s enduring cultural significance.

Renowned sitar player Rishab Rikhiram Sharma then delivered a soulful performance, offering a unique fusion of devotional music.

Producer Namit Malhotra also addressed the gathering, sharing the vision and years of dedication behind the ambitious cinematic spectacle.

He briefed the audience on the extensive effort that went into the film’s casting process from the very beginning.

Ranbir and Sai Pallavi took the stage to a roaring response that reflected the enormous excitement surrounding the film.

As he entered, Ranbir touched poet Kumar Vishwas’ feet before speaking about Lord Ram’s profound influence on his own life.

He also expressed deep gratitude to Arun Govil for his iconic portrayal of Lord Ram that generations continue to cherish.

Sai Pallavi admitted feeling slightly hesitant about speaking in Hindi but won hearts with her sincere words.

She spoke movingly about the responsibility and deep emotion attached to portraying one of the epic’s most revered characters.

The evening reached a thrilling new high when Yash made his much-awaited entry.

Whistles and chants of “Daddy’s Home” and “Rocky Bhai” echoed powerfully through the venue as he appeared before fans.

Overwhelmed by the love, Yash greeted the audience warmly and expressed genuine gratitude for the extraordinary reception he received.

He also spoke about his bond with the cast and how working alongside such accomplished actors made the experience memorable.

The night’s most electrifying moment came when the makers unveiled Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman on stage.

Ranbir Kapoor welcomed him by touching his feet as a mark of deep respect, drawing emotional cheers from the crowd.

Sunny spoke about his heartfelt association with the epic and said Ramayana would always hold a very special place for him.

Dharma Productions will oversee the film’s full theatrical distribution across the Indian market when it releases this year.

The trailer will be showcased at Comic Con San Diego on July 20 before its public release for fans on July 24, 2026.
