The results contradict the claims made by Sania's father.

The post-mortem report of Sania Zehra, who was allegedly killed by her husband Ali Raza, has been released, providing insights into her death.

The report revealed that the 20-year-old victim died of asphyxiation due to hanging.

According to the autopsy, there were no fractures in her neck and no injuries or signs of violence on her body.

Samples from her stomach, liver, and spleen have been sent to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) for further analysis.

The report also confirmed that she was not pregnant at the time of her death.

The results contradict the claims made by Sania’s father.

Her father had claimed that his daughter was five months pregnant and accused her in-laws of attempting to cover up her murder.

The police exhumed Sania’s body following a court order to investigate the alleged murder and collect post-mortem samples for a forensic report.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities awaiting the PFSA’s forensic analysis to confirm the exact cause of death.

Multan City Police Officer Sadiq Ali Dogar, referencing the preliminary post-mortem report, said Sania’s death was due to suicide by hanging.

However, a case has been registered under the sections of murder against her husband and in-laws.

The police are exploring all potential angles in the investigation, including the history of suicide within the victim’s family.

It was revealed that Sania’s brother had taken his own life six months before.

The harrowing incident gained public attention after an Instagram page called Justice for Sania shared details of her ordeal.

The page, citing a forensic report, claimed that Sania’s husband brutally tortured her, cutting her tongue and breaking her teeth.

Sania’s father further alleged that she was raped before being killed.

The preliminary findings of the post-mortem report have led to mixed reactions.

Users have called for the need for a thorough and unbiased investigation to uncover the truth behind Sania Zehra’s death.

As the investigation progresses, the focus remains on gathering comprehensive forensic evidence to find out what really happened.

A user wrote:

“I can not believe that a woman is still not receiving justice after she is dead.”

Another questioned: “How can her family lie about such a thing? Was it to gain sympathy and make the case seem more serious?”

One said: “No signs of torture? Her family said that her entire body was mutilated. What to believe?”
