Meera Chopra got married to businessman Rakshit Kejriwal in Jaipur.
The wedding took place in front of Meera’s close industry friends, including Sandeep Singh, Anand Pandit, Arjan Bajwa and Gaurav Chopra.
It was reported that the wedding took place at Buena Vista Luxury Garden Spa Resort.
The couple’s mehendi, haldi and sangeet ceremonies took place on March 11.
They exuded joy as they walked down the aisle whilst being showered by petals.
For the big day, Meera looked elegant in a red Sabyasachi ensemble. Meanwhile, Rakshit kept things classic in an ivory sherwani.
Meera shared glimpses from their wedding and in the caption, she penned a heartfelt note that read:
“Forever now in happiness, fights, laughter, tears and lifetime of memories.
“Har Janam Tere Sath.”
In the comments section, actors and fans extended their congratulations.
Actress Barkha Sengupta wrote:
“Congratulations girl… Wishing both of you love and happiness.”
One fan said: “My heart has taken away. Heartiest wishes.”
Another said: “Wishing you Meera and Rakshit a fabulous life ahead.”
Rakshit had been out of the limelight until the wedding pictures were unveiled.
It is reported that Meera and Rakshit had been in a relationship for three years before deciding to tie the knot.
In January 2024, Meera Chopra said wedding locations were still being looked at and that it was all about “finding the right person”.
She said: “There was never an intention of keeping my wedding a hush-hush affair.
“I don’t see any reason as to why I should not talk about it and why should I hide it?”
“I am happy about it and I want to tell the whole world about it. It is about finding the right person, and right time, and that is the case for me.”
Meera is the cousin of Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra. However, neither actress attended the wedding.
She previously opened up about her bond with her cousins, admitting:
“From the start, there was not much closeness between us, that we would look like friends here. That would be fake.
“But I can say that when three or four girls join the industry, they help each other.
“That did not happen to me. I never asked for help and the help never came from them.
“I am not the one that asks for help and even they never offered any help.”
