Junaid Safdar Ties the Knot with Shanzay Rohale Ali

Junaid Safdar married Shanzay Rohale Ali in a high-profile wedding in Lahore attended by politicians, ministers, and foreign dignitaries.

Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, married Shanzay Rohale Ali in Lahore.

The barat ceremony was held during the day at a farmhouse and hosted by the bride’s family.

Close relatives, friends, and several political figures attended, making the event a notable gathering.

Many workers from PML-N and other political parties were also invited to participate in the celebration ceremony.

The bride wore a red saree designed by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani for the barat event.

The saree featured dull gold and ivory zardozi embroidery with traditional, intricate patterns throughout the fabric panels.

She paired the look with a heavy veil, a potli bag, and an emerald polki necklace, gracefully styled.

She skipped heavy accessories, wore nude makeup, and styled her hair in a neat, elegant bun.

Junaid Safdar wore an ivory sherwani, trousers and a qulla turban designed by HSY for the barat ceremony.

The nikah was solemnised by the Sajjada Nashin of the Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani shrine ceremonial tradition.

The bride’s consent was formally obtained by Council of Islamic Ideology chairman Mufti Raghib Hussain Naeemi.

Several prominent political leaders, including Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar, attended the ceremony together.

Other guests included Hamza Shehbaz, Salman Shehbaz, Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz and foreign dignitaries as well.

The mehndi ceremony was held on January 16, 2026, at Jati Umra with close family attendance present.

At the mehndi, Junaid wore a navy blue kurta with golden buttons and a brown shawl draped traditionally.

Shanzay impressed guests wearing an emerald green multicoloured lehenga by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The lehenga featured zardozi dabka gota patti sequins and a customised blouse design exclusively created for her.

Her jewellery, makeup and styling were completed by Saad Samie with peach toned glow finish.

The valima reception is scheduled on January 18, 2026, at Jati Umra Farms in Lahore.

Approximately 800 guests, including ministers, politicians, and foreign attendees, are expected to attend the reception.

This wedding marks Junaid Safdar’s second marriage following his separation from Ayesha Saif Khan.

He married his first wife in 2021, and they separated after two years.

Junaid Safdar’s second wedding festivities are drawing significant public attention.

Observers noted the events were organised smoothly maintaining privacy despite high profile attendance throughout all ceremonies.

The public now awaits the highly anticipated Walima celebration.
