Indian Uncle killed by Nephews for Eating their Pet Chicken

Two young men murdered their Indian uncle after he ate their pet chicken. The incident happened in the village of Girda, Jharkhand.

The victim was identified as 55-year-old Patiya Singh while the nephews were named as Inder and Prahlad Singh.

When the brothers found out their uncle had cooked and eaten their pet, they were angered and attacked him. They also injured their aunt when she tried to help.

It was reported that the two brothers had brought the chicken inside the house on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

However, when they returned to their home, Patiya ended up roasting and eating the chicken without telling his nephews.

Inder and Prahlad returned to their uncle’s house and searched for their pet when they noticed it had gone missing.

The brothers later discovered that their uncle had turned their pet into a meal.

On Friday, February 21, the enraged brothers confronted their uncle and an argument broke out over the matter.

Their aunt, Bhagwati Devi heard the row and soon intervened. She calmed her nephews down and told them to go back to their house. The two youths decided to leave the house.

But at around 8 pm, the brothers returned, armed with sharp weapons.

The brothers made their way into the house and repeatedly stabbed the Indian uncle, killing him instantly.

During the incident, Patiya screamed and Bhagwati entered the living room to see what was going on.

When she saw her husband being attacked, she tried to save him but ended up being stabbed also, suffering serious injuries.

Following the double stabbing, the two brothers fled the scene.

Locals heard what had happened and rushed Bhagwati to Sadar Hospital. She remains in hospital recovering from her injuries.

Meanwhile, the police were informed about the incident and arrived at the house.

Locals explained that there had been an argument between the victim and his nephews.

Some said they saw the brothers return to the house at night before running out.

Based on their statements, police registered a case of murder and attempted murder under the Indian Penal Code against Inder and Prahlad Singh.

An investigation was launched, however, both suspects remain on the run.

Police officers have stated that they are currently looking for the brothers and appropriate action will be taken against them once they have been taken into custody.
