A video of Deepika Padukone boarding economy class is going viral on social media.

Dressed in an orange athleisure wear with a cap and sunglasses, the actor maintained a low-profile while presumably heading towards the washroom inside the craft.

The video, shared by a fan on Reddit first, shows the passengers of the flight intrigued to see her as she walked along the aisle.

A woman can be heard calling out to the actor: “Hi, Deepika.”

Since the release of the video, people have been reacting and commenting on the post.

Some people lauded Deepika Padukone for being humble, while others recalled their experiences of seeing celebrities flying economy.

A fan of Deepika Padukone wrote: “It’s better they (celebs) economically rather than opting for private jets.”

On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan.

The film also features John Abraham and is said to have collected over Rs 970 crore worldwide.

Yash Raj Films announced that Pathaan had become the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide in the history of Hindi cinema.

Pathaan was helmed by Siddharth Anand, with whom the Om Shanti Om actor will also be collaborating on the Hrithik Roshan actioner Fighter.

During the press meeting of Pathaan post its release, Deepika Padukone shared her experience of working in Pathaan.

She said: “We had a good time shooting the film.

“Shah Rukh Khan had taught me that it’s important to work with people you have a good time with.

“It was such a lovely atmosphere to work in and that’s what the audience is taking back.”

Besides Fighter, Deepika Padukone will be seen in the Hindi remake of The Intern.

The film also features Amitabh Bachchan.
