“Aashna is the most special person in my life"
Following the news that Armaan Malik proposed to his longtime girlfriend Aashna Shroff, the singer has now shared a sneak peek of his proposal.
Armaan announced his engagement on August 28, 2023, sharing pictures of himself going down on one knee.
He captioned the post: “And our forever has only just begun.”
Fans and fellow members of the music industry were quick to congratulate him on his good news.
Shreya Ghoshal said: “Such wonderful news! Congratulations to you both!”
Palak Muchhal added: “Congratulations Armaan and Aashna! Best wishes for the best phase of your lives!”
Armaan has now treated his fans to a video of the proposal in which he journals the whole engagement process for the unaware Aashna.
Armaan then sings his latest song ‘Kasam Se’, which he has labelled an ode to their love story.
The video goes on to show a shocked and emotional Aashna hugging Armaan as he finally pops the question.
The synopsis for the romantic ballad reads as:
“Kasam Se is a musical love letter to my better half. An ode to our love story.
“It’s a promise to her that no matter how difficult the circumstances, I’ll always be there holding her hand through it all.
“When you find your soulmate, your forever person, there’s no looking back.
“Aashna is the most special person in my life and I feel extremely lucky to spend the rest of my life with her. Here’s to our forever!”
Soon after the video was posted, fans rushed to offer their congratulations.
