Social media users are convinced that Tamannaah Bhatia is dating Vijay Varma.
This comes after a video appeared to show the two stars hugging and kissing as they celebrated the New Year in Goa.
It is reported that Tamannaah and Vijay spent the New Year together in Goa.
Tamannaah posted pictures and videos from the party – held at Purple Martini – but did not post any with Vijay.
However, a video posted on Reddit showed revellers ringing in the New Year, with many taking their phones out to film the firework display.
In the background, a woman is seen with her arms around a man.
As fireworks went off, the pair are seen hugging.
The second part of the video appears to show the pair kissing.
Although their faces were not seen, social media users believe the loved-up pair were Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma based on their outfits.
Tamannaah had been wearing a shimmering pink ensemble while Vijay sported a white, short-sleeved shirt.
The video was captioned: “This is it. Tamannaah and Vijay Varma hugging and kissing each other her. I am crying.”
It went viral and got fans talking about the rumoured couple.
One wrote: “Wow they’re really open, guess they don’t plan on keeping their relationship hidden.”
Another said: “I am happy for them, these two talented people make a really good couple.”
A third commented: “Now this is a love story I am rooting for. Rooting for you girl – Tamannaah!”
One comment read: “Vijay Varma is dating a goddess.”
But one Reddit user did not think the stars were dating, writing:
“It’s just a kiss! It happens and people forget each other! Don’t think it will be serious. Time will tell.”
Vijay and Tamannaah have not commented on the matter.
The pair had been spotted at Mumbai airport. According to reports, they travelled to Goa together to celebrate the New Year.
Vijay had even visited Tamannaah at her residence on December 21, her birthday.
On the work front, Vijay was last seen in the Netflix film Darlings, which also starred Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah. The film received critical acclaim and Vijay’s performance was praised in particular.
Meanwhile, Tamannaah was seen in Babli Bouncer and Plan A, Plan B.
She will next be seen in the Telugu film Bhola Shankar.
