When will Vijay Varma marry Tamannaah Bhatia?

Since going public with their relationship, Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia have faced marriage questions. But when will it happen?

When will Vijay Varma marry Tamannaah Bhatia df

"First of all, no girl wants me to get married."

Vijay Varma has been dating Tamannaah Bhatia for sometime and is frequently asked if he plans to marry her soon.

The pair grew close on the set of Lust Stories 2 and the dating rumours first came to light in January 2023 when they appeared to be spotted kissing at New Year’s party in Goa.

Tamannaah confirmed their relationship in June 2023, saying:

“I don’t think you can get attracted to someone just because they are your co-star. I have had so many co-stars.

“I think if one has to fall for someone, feel something for someone it’s definitely more personal, it’s nothing to do with what they do for a living, I mean that’s not the reason why this would happen.”

Since then, the couple have been facing questions about their personal life.

Vijay and Tamannaah typically focus on their professional life rather than their personal.

But when asked about a potential wedding, Vijay Varma reacted.

Revealing that he is yet to answer his own mother, the actor said:

“First of all, no girl wants me to get married.

“I can’t even tell my mom the answer to this question, and I would not be able to answer it to you.”

Vijay previously opened up about facing marriage pressure.

He said: “I am a Marwari. In our community, boys are considered of a marriageable age at 16.

“So, all this began very early with me and also ended very early because I went past the marriageable age.

“On top of that, I had become an actor by then so there was that too.

“But I never gave much attention to it because I knew I had my career as a question mark in front of me. So, I never paid any attention to it.

“I had my blinders on, and I was just looking at my career.”

Vijay also revealed that his mother always inquires about his marriage plans since the “career” part of his life is settled.

Giving his thoughts on what needs to change in the film industry, Vijay said:

“In India, we are making stories for our respective regions and not going global with our content.

“I want to explore themes and films that are universal. I feel filmmakers need to take risks and not think of commercial success. They need to be ready for failures.”

On juggling between mediums, he added:

“I started with theatre, worked in films and I am currently working a lot in streaming platforms. I don’t feel there are any significant differences.

“An actor’s responsibility is to understand the script and the character, learn the dialogues and work closely with those involved in the production.

“Each medium mutually benefits actors.”
