Amaal Mallik has issued a firm warning to trolls targeting his family amid an ongoing controversy over his song ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’.
Taking to X, he drew a clear and unambiguous line between criticism directed at him and any attacks on his family members.
Amaal wrote: “A statutory warning to the entire audience on each & every social platform of the world…
“Not a word about my family will be tolerated.”
He also used the post to clarify the creative journey behind ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera.’
The 2015 composition was sung by Salman Khan for the film Hero.
He wrote: “Firstly, know that Armaan Malik has sung the main version, because of which it could be presented to the actor-producer Mr Salman Khan and director Mr Nikhil Advani.
“I made it, Kumaar sir wrote it, Armaan Malik sang it; hence it got approved and then Salman Khan sir sang it.
“That’s how the cookie crumbles, and that’s exactly how it happened, okay?
“FYI, without Me & Kumaar sir, there would be no song to sing.
“Without Armaan, there would be nothing to play to Salman, sir.
“Without SK’s face & voice version, the song wouldn’t be where it is today; never denied that.
“But does anyone even pause to think how much goes into creating a song and then get left out of every celebration post every year?”
The post reflected a deep sense of frustration at being repeatedly overlooked in anniversary celebrations for a song he composed.
He also made clear that he was prepared to publicly expose anyone from the film industry who chose to take a stand against him or his family.
He wrote: “I will expose each one of you here if I find you saying anything against my family.
“Also, if anyone from the film industry, without probable cause or reason, stands up against me and mine, watch out. I’ll be coming for you…
“I am the SRK of Music. But my anger is just like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.”
“This might happen with others, but definitely not with Daboo Malik and his family…
“Amaal Mallik stood with them, stands with them, and will continue to stand with them.
“So, clash at your own risk.”
The mention of his father Daboo Malik is significant given the well-publicised estrangement within the Malik family over recent years.
Despite that reported distance, Amaal made clear that his loyalty to his father and family remained firm and non-negotiable.
The controversy that triggered the trolling began =when Salman Khan Films shared a social media post marking ten years of ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’.
That post did not mention Amaal Mallik’s credit as the composer, prompting him to call out the omission.
The original post was subsequently edited to include his name, but the damage had already been done.
Social media users then turned on Amaal, criticising him for allegedly being ungrateful toward Salman Khan.
Both Amaal and Armaan Malik defended his stance publicly, which only intensified the trolling directed at the composer.
