"You need to love the object more than you love yourself."
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt attended an event at the Mumbai Press Club on January 18, 2023.
Several pictures and videos of the couple are being shared widely online.
Taking to Instagram, a paparazzi account posted a video of the couple inside the venue.
As they climbed the stairs, a wall next to it was adorned with several picture frames of the couple, including one from their wedding.
It also had several photos of Ranbir’s parents, mother-actor Neetu Kapoor and late father-actor Rishi Kapoor.
The duo took several minutes and gazed at the wall.
Alia and Ranbir Kapoor also pointed at a few photos featuring them and talked with each other as well as the people around them.
They also posed for pictures. For the event, Alia wore a grey cropped top under a matching blazer and pants and heels, meanwhile, Ranbir opted to wear a white T-shirt under a jacket, denim, and sneakers.
In another video that’s making the rounds, Ranbir and Alia can be seen singing the opening lines of ‘Kesariya’ from their film Brahmastra.
However, Alia gets stuck while singing and looks at Ranbir while asking, “Kya hai lyrics (what are the lyrics)?”

During the event, Alia Bhatt talked about her husband Ranbir’s photography skills and said:
“Pehle toh chhupa rustam, bahut achhe photographer yahan hain (First of all, a very good photographer is here).”
She added: “He isn’t on Instagram but the best pictures I have ever seen in my life anybody take is Ranbir.
“He always says that for you to take a good picture, you need to love the object more than you love yourself. That’s what he keeps telling me.”
She further said: “I can’t take good pictures.”
She then continues to sing and completes the song. Meanwhile, Ranbir can be seen cheering her up throughout.
The couple’s outing comes after their get-together with family members.
Actor Karisma Kapoor shared pictures from the dinner bash and wrote: “Fam Jam always the best.”
On the work front, Alia will be next seen in Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
The film also features Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on April 28.
Apart from this, Alia’s debut Hollywood project, Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot is in the pipeline.
She also has director Farhan Akhtar’s next film Jee Le Zaraa opposite Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
Ranbir will be next seen in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming action thriller film Animal.
The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.
The film is slated to be released countrywide on August 11 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
