“Do you ever think about a second marriage?”

Abrar-ul-Haq disclosed that the notion of marrying again had never crossed his mind and revealed his wife’s reaction to the mere suggestion of a second marriage.

He appeared on Suno Digital and the conversation turned to Shoaib Malik and how he faced controversy for allegedly sending flirty texts to Nawal Saeed.

Making a joke, Abrar suggested that Shoaib should get married again.

Abrar was then asked: “Do you ever think about a second marriage?”

He instantly replied that he does not think about it.

The hostess then asked: “Are you afraid of your wife or are you afraid that you won’t be able to afford it because of inflation?”

Abrar continued: “No, no, money is not the issue here. I just haven’t thought about it at all. My poor wife doesn’t say anything.

“She indirectly keeps telling me that if I marry again she will not leave me.”

His wife has not explicitly expressed any opposition to the idea.

But she has jokingly threatened dire consequences if he were to consider such a step. She threatened him with the loss of his life.

Abrar said: “One should be afraid. You never know when you might start liking another woman.”

There were mixed reactions from the public regarding Abrar’s statements.

A user said: “I do not appreciate him making his wife feel insecure. He himself said that she has to threaten him so that he wouldn’t marry again.”

One user playfully remarked: “He better not get a second wife. We don’t want to lose a great singer like you sir.”

Another wrote: “I must say, that is one frightening woman. Maybe her anger is the reason Abrar never married again.”

One asked: “When will second marriage stop being a topic for jokes?

“It actually happens to some women and it ruins their life. Celebrities are out here, joking about it on live TV. Shame on you.”

Abrar-ul-Haq is renowned as the Bhangra king and has achieved global acclaim for his music.

Transitioning into politics later in his career, he enjoyed a respectable tenure in the political arena.

Despite his fame, Abrar-ul-Haq maintains a strict boundary between his public persona and his personal life.

He rarely shares details about his family with his fans.

However, glimpses of him alongside his wife at various events portray a picture-perfect couple.
