Rishi Singh, of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fame, has revealed he is in the midst of his wedding celebrations with Maria Ramirez.
The wedding comes just over a week after going public with his relationship.
Rishi had only announced his engagement on February 2, 2024.
In an Instagram Story, Rishi popped the question on stage.
The reality star began: “I’m very bad to express my feelings.
“But I just want to lose myself in front of you. I want to lose my everything in front of you.
“With my both knees, because when you respect, you respect fully — will you be mine? Will you marry me?”
Initially, Maria jokingly responded: “Try again.”
As Rishi and the crowd laughed, she eventually accepted the proposal:
“Babe, I love you. Of course.”
Soon after, the wedding festivities began.
Maria shared a series of Instagram Stories, showing multiple venues.
Throughout the festivities, Rishi and Maria had a series of outfit changes.
Maria had a blue engagement outfit. For the wedding, she switched to a traditional red ensemble.
For the mehendi ceremony, both Rishi and Maria opted for light green.
Maria shared delightful moments on her social media, featuring a lively “couple’s entry” dance to various locations and a snapshot of her and Rishi during their Haldi ceremony.
Displaying her adorned mehendi, Maria proudly showcased her engagement ring along with two extra bands on her wedding finger.
The anticipation for the formal wedding ceremony heightened on February 2 when Maria posted a video of her preparations, dressed elegantly in vibrant red and orange attire.
She told her Instagram followers:
“Oh my God, getting ready! Ah!”
Rishi Singh’s wedding comes just over a week after going public with Maria.
Sharing a picture of him and Maria, he included a quote from Elvis Presley:
“Take my hand, take my whole life too. For I can’t help falling in love with you.”
The caption read: “Love you can’t hide… love is beyond the imagination.
“Unconventional love… unimaginable love. Love for forever.”
The surprise wedding comes two months after Rishi split up with Jen Boecher.
American national Jen temporarily moved to India to pursue their love story.
However, Rishi kept his relationship with Jen a secret from his family. At the same time, his parents continued to push for an arranged marriage for Rishi.
In November 2023, Jen and Rishi officially parted ways.
Rishi said: “Jen and I have mutually decided to part ways.
“This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure, but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives.
“The love and respect we have will always be, and our shared memories are forever.”
But in an Instagram video, Jen claimed the split was not mutual.
She said she ended things when she no longer felt in love with Rishi.
