Yumna Zaidi has revealed that she has never received a direct proposal in her life.
During a recent promotional event for her upcoming film, Yumna Zaidi candidly discussed her plans.
The 34-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars from the highly anticipated film, Nayab.
This included Usama Khan, Fawad Khan, Javaid Sheikh, Umair Nasir Ali and Agnes Kenney.
This conversation took place on the popular talk show, Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir.
As the discussion unfolded, Yumna Zaidi addressed the topic of receiving marriage proposals.
During one of the show’s segments, a devoted fan of Yumna could not help but shower the actress with praises.
The fan described Yumna as the ideal choice for a daughter-in-law.
Perked by curiosity, she could not resist asking Yumna about the number of marriage proposals she had received so far.
Nida Yasir playfully reminded Yumna Zaidi of a proposal she had received during her previous appearance on the show.
Yumna admitted that while she does not directly receive proposals, her mother might be the one to handle such matters.
Acknowledging her appealing personality, she stated:
“I believe that my mother is the person whom people approach directly, rather than coming to me.
“However, I possess a likeable personality that people appreciate, and I am sincerely grateful for their genuine affection and love.
“I express my heartfelt gratitude for their sincerity.”
During their conversation, Nida Yasir went further and asked Yumna Zaidi about her thoughts on marriage.
Nida was interested to know what qualities she looks for in a potential life partner.
Yumna expressed her desire for a partner who would fully support her in living a happy life, just like the one she has now.
She also mentioned her aspirations to grow and progress with her partner, creating a relationship that is filled with positivity.
Yumna Zaidi has been impressing audiences with her acting skills and selection of scripts. She has received numerous awards and continues to sway viewers with her performances.
Her role as Meerab in Tere Bin has skyrocketed her to immense fame.
Yumna Zaidi is currently getting ready for her first film, Nayab, which will be released on January 26, 2024.
