"I have sent reply notice asking for Rs. 75 Crore"
Sherlyn Chopra has demanded £7.2 million from Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, alleging mental harassment.
It comes after the actress had made various accusations against the celebrity couple during a police investigation.
Chopra was questioned by authorities and regularly made headlines due to the Raj Kundra porn case.
The couple subsequently filed a defamation lawsuit worth £4 million due to the allegations made against them.
In response, they received the £7 million notice for mental harassment.
Sherlyn Chopra told ANI: “Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty threatened me with the underworld.
“They now sent me a defamation notice but I will not get scared.
“I request the police to record my statement so that cognisance can be taken of my complaint.
“I have sent reply notice asking for Rs. 75 Crore for mental harassment.”

Chopra also recently shared her reply with her Twitter followers.
Her complaint stated that the lawsuit sent to her is being used as “a weapon to stifle the pursuit of justice”.
She previously said that Kundra, charged for allegedly creating and distributing porn, also committed fraud against her.
The businessman was arrested on July 19, 2021, and spent two months in judicial custody before being granted bail.
His bail request stated that he had been made a “scapegoat” and there was no evidence to prove he was directly involved.
It added that he had been falsely implicated and dragged into the case.
However, this is despite the charge sheet claiming that he was the “main facilitator”.
The 1,467-page charge sheet filed before a Mumbai court included a witness statement from his wife who claimed that she was unaware of her husband’s activities.
Police believe that along with the other suspects, the businessman had been exploiting young women struggling to make it into the film industry.
Authorities are also said to have retrieved WhatsApp messages, emails and pornographic evidence.
Sherlyn Chopra, who is a Hindi film actress, is best known for becoming the first woman in India to pose nude for Playboy magazine.
She was set to appear as the lead for the erotic drama Kamasutra 3D (2014). Chopra was set to play Kama Devi.
However, the project was not completed.
Instead, she created her own short film titled Maya (2017) and later starred in the 2018 film Chameli.
