"That’s the cutest, most random thing!”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas may have busy schedules but their priority is Malti Marie, who was born via surrogacy in January 2022.
While Nick has been busy on tour, Priyanka has been there to support him and has also seemed to enjoy mother-daughter dates with Malti.
In a series of photos uploaded on Instagram, Priyanka shared adorable family moments with her fans, captioning the post:
“August magic.”
In one photograph, an adorable Malti is wearing a matching outfit to her doll, complete with a floral headband.
Another image shows a loving Priyanka resting Malti on her knee and showing her the world outside.
Priyanka also shared an adorable photograph of Nick carrying their daughter in a basket.
The photographs were met with loving comments from their fans, and it seems social media users are enjoying seeing how the couple spend time with their daughter.
One comment read: “Why is Nick holding her in a basket in Central Park? That’s the cutest, most random thing!”
Another said: “These pictures are beautiful! Precious family moments.”
Priyanka also shared an appreciation post for Nick on Father’s Day and shared an adorable photograph of Nick reading to their daughter.
The post read: “He is your biggest champion. He will be the loudest in the room when you win. His wisdom will be the shoulders you stand on, your tears will break his heart.
“He will never show you he’s hurting. His joy is your joy.
“He is dada or dad or papa, or whatever you call them. I love you Nick Jonas, thank you for being ours. MM and I are so lucky.”
Priyanka unveiled Malti Marie to the public in January 2023 during the Jonas Brothers’ Walk of Fame ceremony.
Priyanka Chopra spoke about how life had changed for herself and Nick since the arrival of Malti.
In April 2023, she explained that she had worked out a work-life balance in which she ensured once work was done for the day, it would be her who bathed her daughter every night.
Priyanka stated: “After that [work], I’m not available.
“We do bath time, storytime, bedtime, and then it’s our time, for me and Nick, whether we have friends over or just sit together and watch a movie.”
Priyanka recalled the birth of Malti and spoke of a time when she had thought her daughter would not survive after being in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for over two months, as she was born one trimester early.
She recalled: “I was in the OR [operating room] when she came out. She was so small, smaller than my hand.
“I saw what the intensive-care nurses do, they do God’s work. Nick and I were both standing there as they intubated her.
“I don’t know how they even found what they needed in her tiny body to intubate her.”
Meanwhile, Nick Jonas also spoke of his journey into fatherhood when he appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show in early 2023, in which he shed light on Malti’s first birthday party.
“She went through a pretty wild journey in the early part of her life, so we had to celebrate it in style. She’s one, she’s beautiful. It’s amazing, the best.”
Nick is currently on the Jonas Brothers’ North American tour, along with Joe and Kevin.
The band’s tour will see them perform across the world in 2024, including Australia, France and the UK.
