Playboy has announced that it has severed ties with Mia Khalifa after she shared a series of controversial posts supporting Hamas’ attack on Israel.

The unexpected attack by the militant group has left over 700 people dead and the death toll is expected to rise.

Supposedly supporting the attack, Mia tweeted:

“If you can look at the situation in Palestine and not be on the side of Palestinians, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid and history will show that in time.”

In another post, she wrote: “Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal.”

A third tweet read: “I can’t believe the Zionist apartheid regime is being brought down by guerrilla fighters in fake Gucci shirts – the biopics of these moments better reflect that.”

Mia’s tweets were quickly condemned, with some calling her “disgusting”.

One user asked: “You are enjoying the war?”

Another added: “They will never accept you into their club babe.”

A third wrote: “I’ll buy you an airline ticket so you can tell them yourself. One way.”

She is now facing the consequences for her comments as Playboy has announced that they will be ending their relationship with her.

Mia has previously collaborated with Playboy, which includes a racy photoshoot with the iconic brand.

Her content is no longer accessible on the Playboy website. The brand also released a statement that read:

“We are writing today to let you know of our decision to terminate Playboy’s relationship with Mia Khalifa, including deleting Mia’s Playboy channel on our creator platform.”

Calling Mia’s comments “disgusting and reprehensible”, the statement continued:

“At Playboy, we encourage free expression and constructive political debate, but we have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech.

“We expect Mia to understand her words and actions have consequences.”

It is not the only professional opportunity to end following her controversial comments.

Mia Khalifa has also lost a podcast deal with Canadian broadcaster and radio host Todd Shapiro.

In response to her tweets, Todd took immediate action by ending their partnership.

He said:

“This is such a horrendous tweet @miakhalifa. Consider yourself fired effective immediately.

“Simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting.

“Please evolve and become a better human being. The fact you are condoning death, rape, beatings and hostage-taking is truly gross.

“No words can explain your ignorance. We need humans to come together, especially in the face of tragedy.

“I pray for you to become a better person. However, it clearly seems like it’s too late for you.”
