"First Kriti Sanon and now Disha Patani"
Disha Patani raised eyebrows at the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations as she wore a red lehenga and a plunging blouse.
The actress wore a traditional red lehenga featuring intricate embroidery, paired with a matching blouse that featured a deep-cut neckline, adding a bold edge to her look.
A red dupatta was draped over one shoulder.
Disha completed the look with statement earrings, bangles and loose, flowing hair, while posing for photographers as she arrived at the celebrations.
The outfit combined traditional ethnicwear with a revealing blouse, creating a glamorous look for the occasion.

However, videos of her arrival quickly circulated on social media, with some users questioning whether her choice of clothing was appropriate for a religious celebration.
Referencing the recent criticism faced by Kriti Sanon over her Raksha Bandhan advert, one wrote:
“First Kriti Sanon and now Disha Patani – Is the dress she is wearing even an appropriate dress for Ganpati Festival??
“These Bollywood bimbos have absolutely no respect or regard for the sanctity of Hindu Festivals.”
Another said: “Everyone is in decent dress-up but she can never wear a fully covered dress.”

Others compared Disha’s look with the more modest outfits worn by some of the other guests.
One person commented: “At least she could have worn something nicer today”.
Another asked: “Can this woman for once wear decent clothes?”
One user clarified that their criticism was about the outfit choice for the event rather than the outfit itself:
“I am not against the dress but this fashion is not for pooja purposes.”

Some defended Disha, who has frequently turned heads with her edgy ensembles, and argued that clothing choice is a personal preference.
Posting love heart emojis, one fan gushed: “Ohhh my god.”
Another said:
“She is looking so stunning and adorable.”
Other fans loved the outfit, posting love heart eye emojis.

On the work front, Disha Patani was recently seen in Awarapan 2.
The Nitin Kakkar-directed film also stars Emraan Hashmi and was released in August 2026.
She had also featured in Welcome to the Jungle.
Upcoming projects include Icon and the Hollywood film Holiguards Saga: The Portal of Force, which stars Kevin Spacey.
