At the upcoming Oscars, Deepika Padukone will be one of the presenters.
The 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The upcoming ceremony will see Indian representation as RRR, The Elephant Whisperers and All That Breathes.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR has been nominated for ‘Best Original Song’ for ‘Naatu Naatu’.
Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes has been nominated for ‘Best Documentary Feature Film’ while Guneet Monga’s The Elephant Whisperers is nominated for ‘Best Documentary Short’.
It has now been announced that Deepika Padukone will be one of the presenters, joining a star-studded lineup.

Joining the likes of Samuel L Jackson and Dwayne Johnson, the Academy tweeted:
“Meet your first slate of presenters for the 95th Oscars. Tune into ABC to watch the Oscars LIVE on Sunday, March 12th at 8e/5p! #Oscars95.”
Shortly after the announcement, fans and fellow celebrities congratulated Deepika.
Her husband Ranveer Singh commented with a series of clapping emojis.
Neha Dhupia said: “Can’t wait to watch you Deepu.”
Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone wrote: “Boom.”
One excited fan said: “Deepika Padukone and Riz Ahmed presenting at the Oscars… what did I do to deserve this.”
Another commented: “It’s Deepika Padukone’s world and we just living in it.”
A third wrote: “Another day another slay. Only Deepika can relate.”
One comment read: “Empress Deepika Padukone is going to be a presenter at the Oscars.

The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri also reacted to Deepika’s Oscars announcement.
He tweeted: “While travelling with The Kashmir Files in the USA and the overwhelming response of Americans, I had said that now everyone wants to increase their footprint in India.
“India is now the most lucrative, safe and growing market of the world. This is the year of Indian cinema.”
Deepika Padukone is coming off the successful release of Pathaan. The film is the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
Deepika is now gearing up for the release of Project K.
