Earrings

Opt for bright funky and bold earrings that are long and dangle to the mid-neck. Long dangly earrings accentuate the length of your neck. Since you’re covered everywhere else, do anything you can to draw attention to the face.

Necklaces

Chunky and bold necklaces are still in this season as well. Bright colors and natural woods are the trend. In particular, rococo-style necklaces. If you’re showing some skin, try chains and necklaces that draw attention to your collar bones. Gold jewellery always look elegant with skin.

Belts

Unlike the wide patent belts that were popular last year, this season’s belts are thinner and adorned. You can try flashy belts on dull colors. You can wear this look on a dress with cinched waist or a solid colored top. Also, narrow belts worn in high-waisted, 7/8th-length trousers are also a great look for winter.

Gloves

What’s better than a pair of trendy gloves to keep your hands warm? Try some great leather gloves – they keep your hands warm without making your hands appear bulky.

Scarves and Hats

Scarves around the neck make you feel warm and cosy. A bright colorful scarf helps to break up the monotony of the otherwise dull all-black attire. Out of the many types of scarves right now, knit scarves remain hip and stylish. Hats are trendy too, some match the scarves and others compliment them. Wool based or knitted.

Hair Bands

Bright colored hair bands are a great way to dress up the hair in winter. You can also highlight few strands of your hair for a slight change in appearance. Highlighting just the strands that frame your face is enough to create a sunny glow on a gloomy day.

Handbags

Try some hot colorful handbags or purses. Have a balance between what you are wearing and the style and the size of the handbag you carry, as it can make a big difference.

Footwear

Chunky shoes and platform sandals are still the rage this season. You can also opt for a pair of boots that go with most things in your wardrobe. A pair of knee high boots that go over your jeans would give you twofold protection from the chillness when you go outdoors. Also, experiment with colours, try going wild with scarlet, mustard yellow, electric blue, aubergine and mint.
