"You don't know who my father is."
The Karsaz accident continues to spark outrage and now, footage of Natasha Danish smiling after the fatal crash has gone viral.
Natasha is the wife of Pakistani businessman Danish Iqbal, the Chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited.
On August 19, 2024, she had been driving her Toyota Land Cruiser recklessly and ended up causing the deaths of two people.
It was reported that while attempting to turn her SUV on Karachi’s Karsaz Road, Natasha hit a motorcycle.
Her vehicle hit another two motorcycles before it overturned and collided with a parked car.
The SUV ended up killing a father and daughter, while at least three other people were injured.
According to reports, locals prevented Natasha from fleeing the scene.
There were claims that Natasha Danish was intoxicated at the time but there has been no confirmation of this.
Footage of the aftermath shows the wreckage and Natasha being surrounded by authority figures while locals yell at her.
However, a disturbing video circulating online shows Natasha appearing dazed but smiling, causing outrage.
She was also caught on camera bragging about her influence and at one point, she said:
“You don’t know who my father is.”

On social media, netizens were shocked by her apparent remorselessness.
One stated: “Zero regrets.”
Another urged: “Throw her behind bars and treat her like any other prisoner.”
Highlighting the problem with Pakistan’s justice system when it comes to the wealthy, a user said:
“It’s shameful how Natasha flaunts her wealth and arrogance while mocking Pakistan’s laws and justice system.
“This is the elite’s disregard for accountability, where the poor face prisons, punishments, detentions, and fines.”
Another agreed: “Deep down, she’s mocking that she’ll be free because in our country, there’s no accountability for the rich.”
A third added: “Lawless country.”
One person said: “She was like ‘I can kill you all right now and still get away with no jail time’.”
Shortly after the fatal car accident, Natasha Danish avoided a court appearance, citing mental health issues.
Her lawyer Amir Mansub claimed her mental health was “not stable” and that she was receiving treatment at Jinnah Hospital.
However, hospital records contradicted this claim, showing Natasha was discharged as fit after medical evaluations. Doctors found no need for immediate psychiatric intervention.
Meanwhile, people in Pakistan have claimed that there are attempts to shield Natasha from punishment.
