"It just wouldn’t be Diwali without it."
Lush has launched a vibrant new Diwali 2025 collection, drawing inspiration from beloved Indian desserts, family rituals and the festival’s spirit of light, unity and celebration.
Among the standout products is the Mango Lassi Shower Gel, priced at £9.00 for 120g.
Juicy mango juice and soothing coconut milk combine to capture the refreshing essence of the classic Indian drink.
Co-creator Sarah Deb explained: “My inspiration comes from the Mango Lassi drink, which we always enjoy together as a family during the festivities.
“It just wouldn’t be Diwali without it.”
The shower gel also features smooth vanilla absolute and zesty orange oil, creating a fragrance as uplifting as sharing sweet treats under the warmth of a mango tree.
Equally eye-catching is the Prakash Bath Bomb, retailing at £6.00.
Inspired by rangoli designs, this bath bomb fizzes into a kaleidoscope of shimmering colours and features a fragrance linked to family memory.
Co-creator Himani Sethi said: “This scent had the same fragrance as a hair oil my nana always wore, reminding me of him and celebrating holidays such as Diwali with him.”
Its blend of rose, lavender, orange and ylang ylang transforms bath time into a sensory celebration, while Lush’s plastic-free lustre ensures an environmentally conscious shimmer.
For indulgent hydration, the Mango Kulfi Body Conditioner offers a nod to the traditional dessert.
Priced at £12.00 for 100g, it combines mango butter, cocoa butter and jojoba oil with notes of vanilla and blackcurrant.
Co-creator Sarah Deb explained:
“Mango Kulfi body conditioner has a gorgeous trail of golden shimmer, because glowing skin is a must for celebrating the light of Diwali.”
The body conditioner is also ethically sourced, using organic mango butter from women’s cooperatives in India and Fair Trade cocoa butter supporting smallholder farmers.
Beyond these hero items, the Lush Diwali collection also includes festive gift wraps, a massage bar and curated gift sets, ensuring there is something for every celebration.
More than just skincare, the collection reflects Lush’s Co-Create programme, which empowers staff to design products rooted in authentic cultural stories, promoting diversity and inclusion.
This year, the result is a collection that captures the heart of Diwali: nostalgic family recipes, glowing skin for festive nights and vibrant colours reminiscent of rangoli designs.
With sustainability at its core and cultural storytelling at its heart, Lush’s Diwali 2025 collection promises to light up bathrooms as brightly as the festival itself.
