A troubling video recently circulated on X showing an Indian woman doing something utterly questionable.
The woman appeared to defend her husband, who was being accused of behaviour that was allegedly paedophilic.
She was heard pleading for him not to be arrested. The couple’s children were also purported to be present during the incident.
The incident apparently occurred in the UK, with the man being filmed as the Indian woman’s pleas were heard in the background.
As the woman mumbles “sorry” in a teary voice, a male voice filming the scene says to her husband:
“You’ve committed a criminal offence, so you’re going to be arrested today. You understand some English because you’ve been talking to this child.
“Literally up to the point where you’ve told her that you’re waiting for your children at a school.”
The accused man denies: “No, no, never.”
Following this, the male voice responded: “I’ve got a message to prove otherwise.”
The Indian woman repeats: “It’s okay, sorry. Don’t do it.”
Another person filming the scene said: “We have to. He has broken the law. This is a young child that he’s talking to.”
The woman begged: “He doesn’t know. I think that he doesn’t know.”
However, the people filming didn’t buy this. They shot back: “He did know. He knew how old she is and he continued to talk to this child.”
The Indian woman continued to say: “I am humbly requesting you. Please, I’m begging you.”
The male voice then said: “Your children are the same age.
“What would you do if I was talking to your daughter in the same way that you’re talking to this person?”
“Can you answer that? If I, at 32 years old, was talking to your daughter, the things you’ve been saying and the pictures you’ve sent?”

The video clip attracted backlash from netizens.
One user commented: “He needs to be thrown behind bars for life.”
Another added: “He would safeguard his own daughter but continues keeping an eye on the daughters of others. He should not be spared.”
A third person wrote: “Please deport them so that we can give him capital punishment.”
However, some users questioned the authenticity of the clip.
One person opined: “How did you decipher he’s Indian?”
Another said: “The person who is questioning – his voice is clear and the other guy in glasses has background noise. Something is fishy in this video.”
