“Doesn’t it look like a film directed by Rohit Shetty?"
Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has been trending on Twitter after news of gangster Vikas Dubey’s encounter was likened to his storylines.
Rohit was the subject of memes as Twitter users poked fun at the filmmaker.
Reportedly, Indian police shot dead one of the nation’s most notorious gangsters a day after he was arrested.
Vikas Dubey allegedly tried to escape from the police vehicle which resulted in his death.
The convicted criminal was arrested over the killing of eight police officers and was being driven to Uttar Pradesh.
However, the police vehicle in which Dubey was travelling in was overturned while he was trying to escape. He was then supposedly killed in a police encounter.
As news of the Dubey’s extrajudicial killing surfaced, Twitter users felt that it was something straight from Rohit Shetty’s films.
The filmmaker is known for his action films which usually feature cars that topple over.
Fans on the popular social media site told Rohit Shetty that Uttar Pradesh officers have provided him with a readymade script.
They also asked Rohit to start working on his next Singham franchise venture with lead star Ajay Devgn.
