"Is Mrs Jonas going to chime in at any point?"
Mia Khalifa has asked why Priyanka Chopra has remained silent about the ongoing Farmers’ Protest in India.
The former adult film star questioned “Mrs Jonas” for her lack of voice throughout the crisis. Priyanka last spoke about the protest in December 2020.
Meanwhile, Mia has been vocal over the matter, previously tweeting about the internet being cut in New Delhi.
She wrote: “What in the human rights violations is going on?!
“They cut the internet around New Delhi?!”
She has now questioned Priyanka Chopra. Mia took to Twitter on February 7, 2021, and asked:
“Is Mrs Jonas going to chime in at any point? I’m just curious.
“This is very much giving me Shakira during the Beirut devastation vibes. Silence.”

Priyanka had quoted a message from Diljit Dosanjh and wrote:
“Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met.
“As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crisis is resolved sooner than later.”
However, since December, Priyanka has not said anything about the protest.
Mia has also taken the time to troll those who are against the ongoing protest.
She, model Amanda Cerny, poet Rupinder Kaur and Canadian MP Jagmeet Singh came together to mock the netizens who have alleged that they were paid to defame India.
Mia Khalifa posted: “Wouldn’t we have to hashtag “#ad” if we were paid by the Indian government, Amanda Cerny?
“Or am I missing a new SEC rule that excludes us?”
She is among those who have been accused of taking payment to support the protests.
Amanda, another supporter of the protests, replied:
“This is all such a tease. I have so many questions…Who is paying me? How much am I getting paid? Where do I send my invoice?
“When will I get paid? I’ve tweeted a lot…do I get paid extra?”
Rupinder then jumped in and posted: “They think we diasporic Sikhs are paying y’all Amanda Cerny Mia Khalifa on that note what’s your venmo??
“I got some more tweets for y’all.”
Mia responded: “I promise to pay it forward by putting it towards supporting a local Indian restaurant for dinner tonight.”
The American personality later posted a video of her having dinner with a dessert. She also wrote:
“It’s is so nice to work hard and truly earn something like I earned this truly amazing, delicious dinner.”
“First I would like to thank Rupi for providing this dinner in exchange for humanitarian propaganda that I have been posting on my social media, and I would like to thank Jagmeet for the amazing desert.
“I would like to remind everyone that everything does have a price. Mine happens to be samosas. This is enough to keep me going.
“I’m always worried I’ll get too full for dessert, so I eat it during a meal.
“You know what they say, one Gulab a day keeps the fascism away!”
