"we are finding this behaviour very common in India.”
A man was caught appearing to film two teenage vloggers and their mother, who were sunbathing in bikinis.
The incident happened at a hotel in Delhi.
Rory and Sage are American vloggers who travel the world with their parents.
The video appeared to show a hotel guest recording them from his room window. The video zooms in on a man holding his phone and pointing it in their direction as the trio relaxes poolside.
In the clip, the sisters look visibly disturbed.
Their mother, who begins filming in response, says: “Someone is filming us and they are not being discreet.”
She then calls her husband over, adding that all three of them are being watched.
In the caption, they claimed to have seen similar behaviour during their time in India:
“If you’re a female planning on coming to India, I wouldn’t come without a bodyguard of a man. Whether you are sunbathing or fully clothed, we are finding this behaviour very common in India.”
On social media, some users condemned the alleged filming and urged action.
One commenter wrote: “Please report it to the hotel, not the staff present, but some senior management, and they will take action.
“If not, you can even file a report with the police. This should not be taken lightly and we need strict actions from foreigners, so that they can start taking local women seriously too.
“It might be a hassle to talk about it, you can send them an email too.”
Another advised: “Travelling to India for a bikini vacation will only ruin your holiday, girlies.
“Even if you walk in your pjs, men will keep staring and for foreign girls, they will behave as if they have seen god; they don’t have basic etiquette, respect or any sense of boundaries so don’t go at all even we aren’t safe!”

However, others criticised the sisters, as one said:
“In a culture where it is appropriate for women not to roam around naked, if you are roaming around naked, what do you expect??
“Would you do the same in Pakistan or Bangladesh? No… in a Muslim country you’d even wear a bloody Hijab around town, but suddenly in India you wanna go naked and expect people to be something they can’t be.
“Even Indian girls don’t sit in the open wearing bikinis.”
Some sought to draw comparisons with experiences abroad:
“Imagine an Indian in traditional attire walking along a busy street in London.
“Everyone would stare, and some may even record, right? We don’t call them whites creep.
“But when you white people come to India and wear bikinis, of course it’s uncommon here and people stare and some may record.”
Meanwhile, one person bluntly dismissed the sisters’ concerns outright:
“So people can’t peek outside their window because you are tanning?? Girl, please go on a different planet!”
