Veteran actress Sangeeta has sparked intense online chatter after recalling an uncomfortable memory involving Saud Qasmi and Meera.
The story drew immediate attention because it resurfaced decades old gossip while also prompting a public response from Saud’s wife, Javeria Saud.
During a recent appearance on Mazaq Raat Sangeeta shared that she once visited Saud’s home during a film shoot.
This was because he had repeatedly ignored calls despite being needed urgently.
She explained that she confronted him directly and asked why he was refusing to arrive on set when the production depended on him.
According to her account, Saud kept glancing toward a corner of the room where a large pile of clothes had been placed unexpectedly.
Sangeeta said that Meera was hiding behind that pile and did not want Saud to work with Resham at the time.
She claimed Meera was stopping him from coming to the shoot because she wanted to be cast opposite him herself.
Sangeeta added that she pulled Meera out and questioned her intentions, to which Meera responded, “No baaji,” while denying blame.
She then stated that she forced Saud to return to the film set after resolving the confrontation in her own assertive way.
When host Imran Ashraf asked whether Meera agreed so quickly, Sangeeta hinted that she may have physically disciplined her in that moment.
The clip immediately went viral online and triggered a swift reaction from Saud’s wife Javeria, who addressed the matter through Instagram.
She wrote: “Applause for you for hiding behind a veil of innocence.
“Digging up forgotten chapters simply to stain a family man’s dignity.”
Javeria continued: “But this story cannot shake our relationship, which stands strong with love and trust, nor can it touch his character.”
She concluded her message by urging Sangeeta to “try something else for cheap publicity,” which escalated the public debate significantly.
