Iffat Shaikh – Adnaan Shaikh’s sister – levelled serious allegations against him.
She subsequently lodged an FIR against her brother.
Adnaan Shaikh has recently been in the spotlight following his marriage to his girlfriend Ayesha. However, the euphoria did not last long.
Iffat filed a legal complaint in which she accused Adnaan of physical assault. She claimed that he severely beat her just days ago.
The details surrounding their altercation are currently unclear, adding to the controversy.
A short clip circulated on X which purportedly showed Iffat outside the Bangur Nagar police station in Goregaon.
In the video, she appeared to lodge a complaint against Adnaan after he thrashed her.
A visibly emotional Iffat stated: “I went to meet my parents. [Adnaan] hit me a lot in the hospital. He beat my father-in-law too.
“When we left the hospital, [Adnaan] continued beating me after exiting the hospital. My scarf fell off, and people gathered on the road.
“My father-in-law fell over. His hand is now fractured. I’ve just hospitalised him.
“I’m now at Bangur Nagar police station to file a complaint.”

According to reports, she has sought help from activist Furkhan Shaikh, who is also featured in the viral video.
Initially, Furkhan advised her to resolve the issue privately, believing family matters should stay within the family.
However, after realising the seriousness of the situation, he accompanied her to the police station to assist in lodging the FIR.
As per sources, police are expected to summon Adnaan Shaikh for questioning in the near future.
Should the situation escalate to legal proceedings, the social media influencer could face significant legal challenges.
Iffat has been vocal about her feelings on social media, posting videos that revealed her ongoing love for her family, especially Adnaan.
In one video, she expressed hope that their relationship would improve.
However, tensions escalated when she posted a picture of Ayesha without a mask on Instagram, further upsetting Adnaan and his family.
Adnaan Shaikh appeared as a wildcard contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 3.
He gained popularity through his social media presence. He was a prominent member of Team 07.
In response to the allegations, he released a video where he claimed that many are spreading false rumours following his highly publicised wedding.
He described the FIRs circulating against him as “fake” and stated that those attempting to tarnish his reputation would soon face consequences.
Adnaan Shaikh expressed his complete trust in the Mumbai Police and the Indian constitution and stated that justice would prevail.
