With the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu due to release on January 12, 2023, fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s trailer.
Fans have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the video since the film’s announcement and have flooded the comment section of the official Twitter account of the production house.
The latest update regarding the film is that sources say the trailer will be out on January 4, 2023. After first indicating it was January 2, 2023.
An official announcement is expected soon.
In the meantime, the audio launch of the film, which was held recently at Nehru Stadium in Chennai, will be aired on Sun TV on January 1, 2023, on the occasion of the New Year.
The Varisu audio launch’s biggest highlight of the launch event was Thalapathy Vijay’s speech.
He set the stage on fire with his inspiring words and totally won the hearts of audiences with his wit and intelligence.
Addressing his fans, Vijay said: “Love is the biggest weapon in the world.”
He added: “Varisu talks about love and the greatness of the family.”
The makers of the Tamil film also dropped a new poster of Vijay from the film at midnight as a New Year special, in which Vijay looks neat and dapper in a suit.

Varisu, helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady.
This is the first time that Vijay is collaborating with the duo.
The other members of the star cast include Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Khushbu, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Ganesh Venkatram and Sangeetha Krish, among others.
Music for the film is by Thaman and Varisu marks his first collaboration with the composer.
The songs of the film, including Ranjithame, Thee Thalapathy, which were released as singles recently, have gone on to become chartbusters.
The film’s cinematography is by Karthik Phalani and the editing is by Praveen KL.
The film has been bankrolled by Sri Venkateswara Creations and Varisu marks the first Tamil film produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner.
With the release of the film fast approaching, the makers are expected to continue to promote the film with back-to-back updates in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the film will take on Ajith’s Thunivu at the box office on the occasion of Pongal.
With the trailer of Thunivu being released and going viral, the anxiety among Vijay fans has increased.
The last time Ajith and Vijay clashed at the box office was in 2014, when Ajith’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla took on each other.
