Indian-American singer Jasmine Sandlas has become the subject of widespread outrage after a deeply disturbing incident at her Dehradun concert.
Videos from the live event have surfaced online, with several users alleging that the singer was inappropriately touched by crowd members.
The footage has sparked significant anger across social media platforms, with many users condemning the behaviour of the audience.
Jasmine is widely known for singing ‘Shararat’ from the film Dhurandhar and has a massive fanbase across India.
In one widely shared video, Jasmine is seen squatting down near the edge of the stage to interact with waiting fans.
Fans can be seen pulling her by the hand as she attempts to greet them and accept flowers and gifts.
As some members of the crowd grab at her, members of her team are seen visibly trying to push people back.
Jasmine herself eventually asks the fans around her to step back as the situation becomes increasingly difficult to manage.
Her security team continued working to control the crowd throughout the uncomfortable and distressing sequence captured in the footage.
One X user wrote: “She stepped down a little to accept the roses and greet fans, but some people showed their true colours and touched her inappropriately.”
The post quickly drew strong reactions from fellow users who were appalled by what the videos appeared to show. One user responded:’
“Women artists should always be respected if they come to shake hands, talk to the audience.”
Another wrote: “No artist should have to experience this while simply interacting with fans.”

Several others also shared their own clips of the incident and questioned why crowd members felt entitled to touch her.
Many expressed that the incident was a deeply troubling reflection of the lack of boundaries shown toward female performers publicly.
Jasmine Sandlas has not released any official statement addressing the incident or the videos that have since gone viral.
Beyond ‘Shararat’, Jasmine is also widely recognised for her contribution to ‘Yaar Na Miley’ from Kick alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh.
She also lent her voice to ‘Taras’ from the hit horror comedy Munjya, further cementing her versatility as a singer.
More recently, she sang ‘Rang De Lal (Oye Oye)’ and ‘Jaiye Sajna’ from Dhurandhar: The Revenge as well.
