It was reported that the actress faced a "taxing situation"
Deepika Padukone was taken to a hospital in Mumbai after the actress complained of uneasiness.
She was rushed to Breach Candy hospital on the night of September 26, 2022.
Deepika’s team is yet to share an official statement on her health and it is believed that she underwent a number of tests which took half a day.
After being attended to by doctors, Deepika is now recuperating.
It was reported that the actress faced a “taxing situation” and was immediately taken to hospital.
This is the second time Deepika Padukone has been in hospital in three months.
In June, Deepika was taken to hospital in Hyderabad. She had been in the city filming Project K along with Prabhas.
Deepika had reportedly felt unwell and it was found to be an increased heart rate. She underwent numerous tests.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika was last seen in Gehraiyaan alongside Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. The film was directed by Shakun Batra.
She will be part of Pathaan opposite Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
Deepika will also star in Fighter, marking her first on-screen appearance with Hrithik Roshan. Anil Kapoor will also be in the film.
It is set to release on September 28, 2023.
In addition to these projects, Deepika will also be in the Hindi adaptation of The Intern opposite Amitabh Bachchan.
The original film starred Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. It saw an elderly man become an intern at an online fashion website, where he forms an unlikely friendship with the company’s workaholic CEO.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has hinted that he and his wife Deepika will be seen on-screen soon.
The couple previously worked together on the likes of Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastaani.
When asked about working with Deepika again during day one at FICCI Frames fast track 2022 Ranveer said:
“I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and I admire her a lot.”
“I have learnt a lot from her in my personal life too. There is a sweet surprise for everyone.
“You guys will see us together very soon. She is one of the best things that has happened to me and am so grateful for her in my life.”
