On Wednesday, October 23, 2025, Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor appeared on Too Much With Kajol & Twinkle.
Hosted by the two women, the show runs on Amazon Prime, featuring Bollywood celebrities.
When Karan and Janhvi sat down with Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, they made some questionable admissions.
The hosts asked the pair if they thought emotional cheating was worse than physical cheating.
Karan Johar, Kajol, and Twinkle immediately agreed and opined that emotional distance was more serious than infidelity in a relationship.
However, Janhvi said: “Worse? I think both of them are bad. How can one be worse than the other?”
Karan declared: “I believe physical infidelity is not a deal-breaker.”
Kajol and Twinkle quipped: “One-night-stands, you know…”
Janhvi stood her ground and insisted that physical cheating was worse in a relationship.
Karan said: “No, sometimes, you need a little bit of warmth.”
Janhvi shot back: “That shouldn’t be the case. Use a blanket instead.”
Twinkle said: “We are in our fifties. She is in her twenties. She will get into this circle soon.”

Kajol, Karan Johar, and Twinkle Khanna garnered backlash for their comments and behaviour.
Meanwhile, netizens lauded Janhvi for appearing more mature, compared to the experienced celebrities.
Twinkle and Kajol are married to Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, respectively.
Picking up on this, one fan wrote:
“Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are sitting at home watching them justify their husbands multiple extramarital affairs as ‘Raat gayi, baat gayi’ (Once the night is finished, it’s over).”
Another viewer wrote: “These three hags are such losers. Also, I love Janhvi for sticking up to what she believed in.”
A third said: “Just saw the clip of Janhvi at that reality show.
“Kudos to her for not changing her stance.”

Interestingly, Karan Johar has previously directed Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) – a film that explored extramarital affairs.
Before Rani Mukerji was confirmed for the role of the cheating woman, Maya Talwar, Kajol was offered the part.
However, she declined the role. While on Koffee With Karan in 2007, Karan asked her what she thought of the film.
Kajol admitted: “There were some parts of it that I didn’t agree with, as a woman.”
Meanwhile, Too Much With Kajol & Twinkle will next feature Sonakshi Sinha and Manish Malhotra.
