Shah Rukh Khan is a hugely loved Bollywood actor with an enormous fan following in England.

Since beginning his acting career with Deewana (1992), Shah Rukh soon became one of the UK’s most popular film stars.

November 2, 2025, will mark a milestone for SRK as he celebrates his 60th birthday.

To mark the occasion, cinemas in India recently announced plans to re-release several classics on the big screen, which starred SRK.

In exciting news for Shah Rukh Khan fans in England, Cineworld Cinemas will also be carrying this out across the country.

Beginning on October 31, 2025, viewers in Northern England, the Midlands, and London can enjoy many of SRK’s films.

These movies include:

  • Devdas (2002)
  • Om Shanti Om (2007)
  • Chennai Express (2013)
  • Jawan (2023)
  • Main Hoon Na (2004)
  • Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994)
  • Dil Se… (1998)

Each film will reportedly be priced at £5.99, with free costs for Cineworld’s ‘Unlimited’ members.

These films were giant hits when they were originally released and are still regarded as highlights from SRK’s filmography.

Reacting to his classics being re-released, Shah Rukh Khan shared a reel on his Instagram profile.

He captioned: “Some of my previous films are coming back to the theatres.

“The man in them hasn’t changed much – just the hair, and a little more handsome!”

As well as India and England, the Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival will be held in the Middle East, North America, and Australia.

Cineworld to re-release Shah Rukh Khan's Classics in England - 1While it is terrific to see these back on the big screen, it isn’t the first time cinemas in England have restored Shah Rukh Khan’s work.

To mark their respective 30th and 20th anniversaries, Karan Arjun (1995) and Veer-Zaara (2004) were re-released in cinema chains including Cineworld and Vue.

Through his illustrious career, SRK has won eight Filmfare ‘Best Actor’ Awards and in 2025, he won his first National Award for Jawan.

A movie that put him on the global map was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), which still shows at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir Theatre.

Shah Rukh also owns Red Chillies Entertainment – one of Bollywood’s leading film production companies.

He has formed popular onscreen pairings with actresses including Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Deepika Padukone, and Rani Mukerji.

On the professional front, SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki (2023).

He is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand’s King, which is scheduled to be released in March 2026.
