Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan confessed to misjudging actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as being “pretty with no talent”.

The Adonis of Bollywood, Hrithik and the beauty queen of Bollywood, Aishwariya are one of the industry’s much-loved on-screen couples.

The pair has given some of their best performances together in films like Dhoom 2 (2006), Guzaarish (2010) and more.

However, there was a time when Hrithik did not think much about Aishwarya’s skills and abilities.

According to an unearthed interview with the actor, Hrithik candidly expressed his thoughts about his Dhoom 2 (2006) co-star.

In the hit film, Aishwarya Rai plays Hrithik Roshan’s love interest and their chemistry gripped audiences.

Before the duo began shooting for the film, Hrithik already held preconceived notions about the actress.

He believed that she was “pretty with no talent” until they began shooting for the film.

Only after Hrithik began working alongside Aishwarya did he come to realise that he was gravely mistaken.

On the set of Dhoom 2 (2006), Hrithik was able to witness Aishwarya’s sheer commitment and dedication to her work which led to him changing his opinion about the star.

The actor also acknowledged that sometimes beauty overpowers other talents. But Aishwarya is someone who has more about her than what meets the eye.

After Dhoom 2 (2006), the duo continued to engage audiences with their chemistry in films like Jodha Akbar (2008) and Guzaarish (2010).

The respective films were well received by the audience.

Hrithik also went on to win the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a leading role for Dhoom 2 (2006) and Jodhaa Akbar (2008).

Currently, Hrithik and Aishwarya are spending the lockdown with their respective families.

Hrithik also shared that his ex-wife Sussanne Khan has moved into his residence so he can live with his sons during this difficult time.

On the acting front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in the blockbuster film, War (2019) opposite Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor.

Hrithik played the role of a secret agent named Kabir who goes rogue and is being tracked down by his former apprentice Khalid played by Tiger Shroff.

It has been reported that the actor will be seen in Farah Khan’s next release the remake of the 1982 film, Satte Pe Satta. However, this news has not been confirmed by the actor himself.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be working with filmmaker Mani Ratnam for her next venture.
