Dia Mirza set to Marry Mumbai-based Businessman?

According to reports, Dia Mirza is all set to marry a Mumbai-based businessman named Vaibhav Rekhi.

Although the actress has not confirmed or denied the rumours, reports have said that the wedding will take place on February 15, 2021.

Vaibhav is a businessman living in Bandra and it was reported that he was previously married.

It is also believed that he has a daughter from the previous relationship.

Now, according to a report by SpotboyE, he and Dia Mirza are set to tie the knot.

It is said to be a very small affair, with only family and close friends in attendance.

The report said: “The wedding will take place in the next two days on February 15th and is going to be a very low profile function.

“The rituals and the wedding is going to be an intimate affair and only close family and close friends will be seen in attendance.”

Dia and Vaibhav have reportedly been dating for a while but have kept their relationship private. In 2020, rumours circulated that the pair had been living together during the lockdown.

Speculation surrounding her personal life has been circulating since her marriage to Sahil Sangha ended.

The pair got married in October 2014 after dating for a number of years. However, they announced their separation in August 2019.

In a statement, they said: “After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate.

“We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect.

“While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other.”

Since then, Dia has not spoken about her personal life.

But when rumours circulated that her marriage ended due to Sahil’s closeness with screenwriter Kanika Dhillon, Dia came to her defence.

Shortly after the end of her marriage, it was speculated that Dia was dating her Kaafir co-star Mohit Raina.

However, it was just speculation and during an interview, Dia opened up about working with Mohit. She said:

“Mohit is the shiest co-actor I’ve ever worked with.

“He took about 15 days to open up… even more than the little girl who plays my daughter in the show.

“It’s said quiet children are the naughtiest and he is just like that! He is a complete joy to work with.

“He takes a little time to reveal himself because he is shy but full of energy. He is naughty, in a nice way and I think he has the kindest eyes.”

On the work front, Dia was last seen in Thappad. Her next project is Wild Dog, a Telugu thriller.
