ZEE5 Global is set to captivate audiences with Inspection Bungalow, Kerala’s first-ever horror-comedy web series, premiering worldwide on November 14, 2025.
The much-anticipated trailer was unveiled by Malayalam superstar Dileep, creating major excitement among fans.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Saiju S.S., Inspection Bungalow stars the versatile Sabarish Varma as Sub-Inspector Vishnu, alongside Aadhiya Prasad, Shaju Sreedhar, and Senthil Krishna.
Produced by Veena Nair under A Veena Nair Productions and written by Suneesh Varanaad, the series masterfully blends mystery, horror, humour, and human emotion.
The story promises a unique balance of suspense and laughter that will keep viewers on edge throughout.
Set in the eerie village of Aravangad, the series follows Vishnu, a reluctant police officer burdened by his past.
When he is tasked with relocating his police station to an abandoned government building known as “Inspection Bungalow,” what begins as a routine duty turns into a chilling investigation.
Unexplained deaths, ghostly apparitions, and a deeply buried truth soon unravel, forcing Vishnu to confront his darkest fears.
Teaming up with Mythili, a skilled paranormal researcher, he discovers secrets far more sinister than any spirit haunting the walls.
Speaking about the project, director Saiju S.S. explained that the series is about more than just fear.
“Inspection Bungalow isn’t just about terror; it’s about finding laughter and meaning within it.
“The unseen often mirrors our own truths, and humour helps us face darkness.
“As Kerala’s first horror-comedy web series, we wanted to break formulas and build a world where fear and fun coexist.
“ZEE5 Global allowed us to create that vision exactly as we imagined.”
Lead actor Sabarish Varma said the role pushed him beyond his comfort zone.
